Sabdariffa is characterized by its concentration of anthocyanin and phytochemicals. Ingredients:

Brewing Instructions:

• Boil 1 ½ cup of water in a small pot.
• Add one 1 to 2 heaped teaspoons of dried hibiscus calyces.
• Boil for 5 minutes.
• Let it steep for 5-10 minutes to extract the flavours.
• Strain the tea into a cup and enjoy it hot or cold. For iced tea, brew double strength and pour over ice.
• You can sweeten it with honey or other natural sweeteners if desired, add some ginger and/or cinnamon for a burst of flavour.
